Fortress of the Lich

Game Summary

The player takes control of a traitorous knight named Narkus who is fleeing from the castle. The Dark Lord, Malicifor, sends their legions to stop the traitor from escaping the castle. Narkus is no longer content with following orders from Malicifor and is seeking to escape their servitude. Weapon development skyrocketed in this world as ancient magics were combined with the emergent weaponry of the times. Use this weaponry and Narkus' acrobatic movement to obliterate foes and dodge traps as you make your way to victory!

My Contributions

My role varied throughout the project’s lifespan. I started working on the weapon system while fine tuning the feel of the player controller. I would also add functionality to the HUD for said weapon system. I implemented gamepad support for both in-game and UI navigation, which would lead to the creation of the custom UI system. I designed and implemented the system that could tune translation to make it appear choppier. I modified existing animations to make them appear choppier and even added additional animations for weapons due to the artists being overloaded with other work completing via blueprints
